The Kodiaks lost a critical game at home Wednesday night to a jacked up Delta squad holding on to a slim two point lead over Abby.

Aldergrove gave up a quick goal in the first two minutes of the game and were stung again in the final minute of the period heading into the second period down by a pair.

The Bears were still in the hunt throughout the second until giving up another goal in last minute of the frame putting them down by three heading into the third.

The goal sparked the Hawks who outshot the Kodiaks 22-13 in the last period scoring two goals to the home squad's single by Ryan Veillet making the final 5-1

Ryan Veillet was named the game's third star.
